Kids love to play in, with and on these play rockers. They can sit or stand in them and rock themselves or rock each other. You can also use it to rock an infant. Kids can flip them over on the side and use the rocker as a kitchen or a fort. Upside down the rocker can be used as a bridge, tunnel or cave.
The play rockers are available with or without the rainbow-coloured slats. The slats are coloured with food colouring and either sealed with food-grade beeswax or a hard clear finish – the same as you would find on hardwood floors.
The clear finish is easier to clean than the beeswax finish and will be more durable protection for the slats and colours over time. It does however involve chemicals and if you prefer a more natural finish then the beeswax finish is available for you. I would recommend that if you purchase a rocker with beeswax finished slats that kids not climb the rocker while wearing shoes and they will easily mark the slats.
The standard rocker is approximately 50″ long, 15″ wide and 25″ tall.
The large rocker is wider and is approximately 50″ long, 18″ wide and 25″ tall.
